Based in Odiham High Street, Richard Ward Opticians are one of the longest established independent opticians in Hampshire.
Navaho's MediaCAT digital signage solution was installed to advertise their products while also providing a relaxed and interesting atmosphere in store. The 32” display, positioned in their reception area displays product news and services along with live BBC News headlines.
MediaCAT Digital Signage players can display third party adverts and information about Optical services on screens positioned in waiting areas, on the shelf edge amongst merchandise, point of sale displays, or in the window frontage to attract the attention of any passer-by.
“Our customers appreciate that we are far removed from the 'production line' world of the multiple optician chains; we provide them with a caring, professional service - personal attention that's combined with value for money.” Richard Ward, Proprietor

As part of their refurbishment in Autumn 2009, Novotel London West were looking for a digital wayfinding solution to improve their clients' experience. The aim was to make better use of the hotels' directional signage throughout its vast conference facility and multiple reception areas.
The brief was to upgrade their current booking system and to utilise a mix of digital wayfinding signage by directing delegates to conference and meeting areas of the hotel and to entertain guests with marketing messages to help promote their facilities. Navaho's MediaCAT Wayfinding solution was selected as it met all these requirements, while having the added advantage that it could be installed with minimal impact to the existing infrastructure and work with their busy client environment.
Daventry & District Housing (member of the Futures Housing Group) was looking for a dynamic solution to enhance its internal and external communications strategy by making better use of information available at its offices at Drayton Fields Industrial Estate. The brief was to generate increased visibility for key housing messages to visiting tenants, to reinforce corporate messages with digital signage displays and to communicate performance effectively to staff by introducing electronic call-centre wallboards.
Navaho's Digital Signage solution, the MediaCAT was selected as it met all these requirements, while having the added advantage that it could be installed with minimal impact to the existing infrastructure and work with their client environment.
Details of the finalised project are highlighted in January's issue of Housing Technology
