Last week's annual ALBUM conference hosted by Reading Bus and Thamesdown Transport took place at the idylic De Vere Wokefield Park near Reading.

The conference took place over a two day period starting 17th May with the main event preceded by the annual Golf Competition organised and hosted by the Optare Group and closing the conference with a lavish Gala Dinner.

This year followed a strong theme throughout the conference of "empowering our people". Various presentatons were made over the course of the two-day event to reflect and re-inforce this message to all delegates and traders alike.

Navaho were again in attendance and exhibiting at ALBUM with their Digital Signage MediaCAT automotive solution. Demonstrating how their Real-Time Passenger displays are currently being used within the Bus industry and how best to implement the system to potential users. Following the success of last year's event, Navaho once again provided ALBUM with digital information and wayfinding display screens in and around the conference, detailing itineraries and navigating delegates over the course of the event.

The Association of Local Bus Company Managers was formed on the 8th October 1984. The objective of ALBUM is a networking opportunity and is highly appreciated by manufacturers and suppliers who support the conference.
