To catch the interest of visitors, Screen Media Expo picked the theme this year of “convergence”. Organisers say that the 2011 event is evolving beyond just digital signage and DOOH to become the European forum for all digital placed-based media technologies and applications.

In keeping with the convergence theme, Navaho have created their own QR code. QR codes are becoming increasingly popular for storing digital data like web addresses. Smart phones have embraced this technology now with free Apps that require its user to just hold up their phone to the image and be sent straight to the intended information.

Navaho were proud to announce a public preview at Screen Media Expo of their MediaCAT Mobile Interface. Available in the next major release you will now be able to control your MediaCAT via your preferred mobile device of which includes the Apple™ iPhone & iPad
